Amy and I were looking at a science book and found a bubble experiment so we asked Mr. Weir if we could do it in Science. All we needed was water, glycerine and detergent, mix it all together and there you have the mixture. First we got a dropper and dropped water onto a coin to see how many drops you could do before it spilt over the side.

The science topic we were talking about wasthe surface tension of water.

Mr. Weir yells a lot when we do the ‘Army Roll’ and so do we. If we call him ‘mam’ (as a joke), instead of saying Yes Sir!, we have to do 5 push ups.  It’s just a fun way of doing the roll in the morning.  By Dylan

Nadia and I [Amy] came up with making bubbles in science. We had to use glycerine, water and detergent. We put drops of water on a ten cent coin and then Mr. Weir came around and put some detergent on the water on the ten cent coin and the water went everywhere!  By Amy Deayton
